Summer in Newport RI. It’s like nowhere else in New England. That’s not to say there are no other amazing and beautiful places to celebrate Summer in this great region of America, we who live here in New England are very, very lucky. But Newport really is unique.
The other day brought the first great summer event as Lisa and I enjoyed the company of many close friends and family while celebrating two of our crazy grandkids’ birthdays. Time sure does go by so fast, and Summers have a tendency to slip along way quicker than any of us think.
A HUGE YEAR COMING UP!
I cannot personally speak for anyone else but I know I am going to enjoy this summer knowing that I will enter one final year on the Newport R.I. Fire Dept. Move my next chapter (no pun intended ) and continue writing and narrating. And yes Mimi, (my sister) the Rock Novel is coming at some point. For now, let's all enjoy the Summer Fun.
