Local author and firefighter Shane J. Hopkins will be doing a live book signing for his "Great American Adventure Novel" titled (Welcome to the Absolutely Astounding Life of Whistle Evel Fonzarelli Starr) Wednesday, December 15th. from noon till three at what is truly the best Café in Newport. CRU Café located at 1 Casino Terrace, right off of Bellevue Ave. next to Stop & Shop. Come down and meet the owner Keith and his entire "CRU" for incredible food, coffee, and a true local family feel. Once your there you won't want to leave.
